TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Purpose and Scope
This Consent and Agreement is intended to set forth the rights and responsibilities of participating artists, vendors, volunteers, businesses and organizers in the White Center Art and Food Walk.

2. Consent to Participate
By signing below, the participant agrees to actively engage in the Event, contributing their work or services in alignment with the mission of celebrating local art, food, and community.

3. Usage Rights and Permissions

  • For Artists: The artist grants the Event organizers the right to use images or recordings of their work displayed during the Event for marketing and promotional purposes (e.g., on social media, in flyers, and on the website). Credit will be given where applicable.

  • For Vendors: Vendors grant permission for photos or recordings of their stalls or products to be used for promotional purposes related to the Event.

  • For Businesses: The business grants the Event organizers the right to use  images and recordings at their business for promotional purposes related to the event.

  • For Volunteers: Volunteers consent to the use of their images or likenesses in Event promotions.

4. Liability Waiver

  • All participants release the Event organizers, sponsors, and the White Center community from any liability for damages, theft, or injury incurred during the Event.

  • Participants are responsible for the safety and security of their own property and materials.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Artists retain ownership of their work. This agreement only grants the Event limited rights to display and promote their work as outlined above.

  • Vendors retain ownership of their products and brand, with promotional rights limited to the scope of the Event.

6. Health and Safety Compliance

  • All participants must comply with local health and safety regulations.

  • Food vendors must adhere to food safety standards as required by local laws.

7. Code of Conduct

  • All participants are expected to act respectfully and professionally toward each other, visitors, and organizers.

  • Any behavior that disrupts the positive experience for others may result in removal from the Event.

8. Indemnification

  • Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Event organizers from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from their actions during the Event.

9. Cancellation or Changes

  • The Event organizers reserve the right to cancel or modify the Event details as necessary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, public health restrictions).
